James Chapman is a musician from Northampton and he has recorded 2 albums as MAPS on Mute Records. He says his influences go from Spiritualized to Mogwai, via My Bloody Valentine or Low.

His first album We Can Create dates from 2007 and in September this year he released his follow up album: Turning The Mind, of which I Dream Of Crystal is the lead single.
