When Mercury Rev released their 7th studio album last year, they offered a second one as free download to their fans. Strange Attractor is an instrumental album that veers towards poetic ambiant. It's a collection of 11 songs that grab you by the hand and take you on a trip to wherever you want to go. And it's obvious the band enjoyed themselves recording it, which makes it all the more special.
